Juan is amazing. We travelled to Peru from Australia without any tours booked as we thought we would do it ourselves due to high prices and specific dates needed to commit to when booking from overseas. Having being recommended at the airport in Lima to do a tour we stumbled across Ballestas in Miraflores as it was the only travel agency we could find open on a Sunday. We ended up booking an 11 day 10 night Spectacular South (Paracas Nasca Arequipa Colca Cusco (incl Machu Picchu) Puno) tour with Juan. Not only was it significantly cheaper than booking through an agent in Australia (and we chose the more expensive 4 star hotel option over the cheaper 3 star options) but it was a completely private tour (just the two of us) and we could choose any day of the week that we would like to leave. All of the transfers during the trip were promptly on time and Juan even came to check us in and see us off from the bus terminal on the day of our departure at 6:00am in the morning. We enjoyed having our own personal tour guides during the trip and everyone spoke English. Juan is a very helpful and patient person and we would highly recommend booking your trip through Ballestas if you plan on seeing Peru.
