I volunteered in the dog shelter for over a month and it was really an amazing experience. The dogs are very happy there and well taken care of by Fabrizio, the veterinarian who created the shelter. Fabrizio is so dedicated and I really admire was he is doing there. Many dogs were adopted when I was there and were very lucky to find a new home! The dogs have so much love to offer and all they need is a new home, a new family. Thank you to everyone helping the dogs

While travelling through Peru, we stayed in Urubamba for a few days, and we had the opportunity to visit this new rescue centre for street dogs. We met Fabrizio, the founder, who was the veterinarian who helped us in our attempt to rescue a street dog and take her back home with us to Canada. We were very impressed by his kindness and compassion. With such a busy veterinarian practice we were surprised when he told us that he was opening a rescue centre for street dogs. I know this beautiful project will make a big difference in the welfare of street dogs in this part of Peru. I encourage others to visit this new rescue centre. They give you a tour of the centre. You can take one of their dogs for a walk, or help with their daily activities. Their gate is closed to keep the dogs in (the centre is right by the highway) so ring the bell!
No es solo un lugar de albergue de animales sino una familia que se encarga de salvar animales concientizar a familias que adoptan los mismo, son una familia llena de amor y compasión tanto los dueños , como el veterinario y los voluntarios, que tengo la suerte de ser parte de este gran espacio lleno de amor de huellitas

Saco a pasear a los canes cada vez que puedo. Al igual que yo, muchas personas ayudan para darles un lugar seguro a estos canes.
