We rented gear from Akilpo for a private 4-day Santa Cruz trek. For two people, we rented sleeping bags, tent, pads, stove (whisperlite) with fuel and pot set. The tent was brand new, the sleeping bags were 800 fill goose down mountaineering bags, and the stove worked flawlessly. In total we payed around S/400, and as a deposit we left a passport. The staff was very professional and made renting the gear easy and effortless. Highly recommend. Would rent again.

Very helpful travel agency. They try and go above and beyond by organizing non-standard tours with different routes and often better views. Their "Panorama" tour I'd highly recommend. They were also helpful in telling me how to some acclimation / custom hikes by myself using public transportation. Also very flexible and handled many late night adjustments for me. Would recommend talking to them.
We visited this agency twice in a row. The first night we were able to book a trip to Laguna 69 for the next day for the very reasonable price of 35 soles per person (minus park entrance fee). The next night we visited again and the nice and knowledgeable man working here organized a private taxi for us to go hiking the following morning. It took him all of 5 minutes and one phone call. We paid a very reasonable rate directly to the taxi driver, so Akilpo didnt even really benefit. Nice folks here!
아킬포에서 주관하는 3박 4일 산타크루즈 트렉을 가격대 중급 트레킹으로 다녀왔습니다. 침낭과 침낭라이너 등은 동계용으로 청결했으며 텐트도 3인용을 둘이 사용해, 좁은 텐트 공간으로 불편할 수도 있었던 텐트 트레킹이 덜 불편했습니다. 식사는 질과 양이 만족스러웠고 매일 과일이 포함된 스낵 바구니를 주어 혹시나해서 준비해간 비상식들은 그대로 도로 갔고 왔습니다. 가이드 프란체스코는 밝고 유쾌하고 가이드 소임을 잘 수행했으며, 전체 트레킹 스텝들이 잘 조직되었고 운영되었습니다. 트레킹 마지막 점심에 사장인 스테파노가 일부러 갔고 온 맥주는 감동이었습니다. 다음에 알파마요 등의 트레킹을 갈 예정이며 그 때도 아킬포 트레킹 에이젼시를 이용할 생각입니다. 한국에서 온 늙은 홀로 트레커.
