This is indeed a beautiful mosque. Yet, the Pakistanian community there is known for not being friendly. I traveled to Tacna specially to visit the masjid and join them for Friday prayer. So I was very excited and went a little bit early and wanted to know about the Mosque and Muslim community there. The keeper (who actually didn't seem to be Pakistani) acted as if I was a CIA spy; what is he, an idiot?! The rest of the community were not that welcoming and friendly. I heard from the taxi driver and one other person that they are known for not being friendly and not being nice. They apparently made their money out of selling used cars. So, they don't have a good reputation among the general public. It would have been better to have a ugly Mosque and a beautiful community than a beautiful Mosque but an ugly community!
