Even though Salon Sumaq is not exactly Air France business class lounge at Charles de Gaulle and not even United Polaris in Newark, for Peru (and for many US airports) it is as good as it gets. The lounge is very spacious, with ample number of seats for relaxation and tables for taking your meals. The food choices are quite decent for an airport food, there are sandwiches, some with good salami (Sandwich de Salami, Lechuga y Tomate), pre-packed Chef Salads, several relishes (Runch, Red Hot Chili Cream, Huancian Cream), hot potatoes, etc. To make a long story short, the food wasn't much worse than our United dinner flying business class from Newark to Lima. Free WiFi and TVs complete the picture. The restrooms, however, are strangely located by the exit from the lounge.

Great place to relax before an international flight. They offer a good variety of options, including vegetarian food. Desserts, snacks, coffee, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages are available 24/7.
Wow, really great lounge with great food. My favorite is the fresh orange juice machine. The staff is always refreshing the food with different varieties so many times there is something new to try. The one down side is that they limit your stay there for four hours so if you have a super long layover you might not be able to stay the entire time (although no one seemed to actively keep track so not sure how they enforce this).
VIP lounge? So many people for the small space, constantly running out of food. Staff is not friendly, why bother ? The only good thing is the fresh orange juice squeezer. Very basic , don’t expect too much from this one
Friendly and helpful staff.
Disappointed. Flying with Iberia, you only get one complimentary drink. Food is limited to small plate snacks. Coffee was nice. Nice fresh orange juice machine. Lots of space when we used it on a Tuesday evening.
Even though the lounge is fine, the bar is good, I find two really disappointing issues: the food is rather a money safer, instead of representative for Peru. Further, they wrap every single fruit in plastic. This is absolutely aweful and a shame!
Good place to rest and have some breakfast or snaks before your flight. If you want to have lunch or dinner go to the restaurants along the gates. You get one complementary alcohol drink but you can buy more. The bathrooms and showers are really good. You also got some basic limited beds if you need to take a nap
