Speedy was super helpful outfitting me with gear and being flexible about return dates. I paid S/. 110 to rent a sleeping bag, pad, tent, and all cooking gear (including gas) for 5 days. The gear was in reasonably good shape and very clean. Speedy also helped me plan an itinerary for hiking the Choquequirao trek without a guide.

We needed hiking poles and sleeping bags for our 4D Salkantay trek and we found them here way cheaper than at our travel agency. Both for only 15 per person for 5 days! Also the guy was very helpful and even helped me fix my GoPro Pole which broke and gave us a bag of coca leaves against the altitude for free. One of the best customer service I ever had!
Great place. For the inca trail we rented hiking poles, a sleeping bag and an inflatable mattress for less than 20. All gear was good quality.
Best price in cusco for sleeping bag rental. You pay the same the trekking companies pay. Very transparent and good to deal with. We rented two sleeping bags with fleece liners included in the price. They kept us warm on Ausangate in August despite us only having a three season tent.
Best place in Cusco to rent hiking equipment. Attractive prices, quality equipment and a very accommodating and customer-oriented manager. I recommend 100%.
You can buy tours here. Also buy or rent camping supplies. A good place to visit if your going trekking
We rented a backpack to carry our toddler at Machu Picchu. The staff was very helpful, knowledgeable, and reassuring that our toddler would grow accustomed to the backpack, and the owner was right, she loved it. This backpack was an essential to have at MP with a toddler, at a great price of 17 USD for 2 days. Thank you so much!!!
The 2 stars isn't because of the quality of the equipment, but rather the lack of understanding the importance of customer service. We rented 2 tents, sleeping bag w/ fleece liner, inflatable mat, and bought a medium size can of gas. The quality of the gear was good (be aware it is heavy so if you're doing a demanding trek like Ausangate that is a factor). When I initially went to get a quote, a nice lady was working. I told her I wanted the gear for 1 week and didn't mention where we were going. She gave me good prices and I told her I'd be back in a few days to pay and get the gear. When we returned, a dude was there who asked where we were going and he told us the Ausangate trek would only take 5 days and started jotting down prices. Everything he quoted us was higher than what the lady had told us and for less time. I told him we had received a cheaper quote and he adjusted the prices. I ended up getting really sick during the trek and we had to turn back. I was hoping to maybe get a small refund since we were returning the gear 2 days earlier than intended. The guy who rented us the equipment told us they rented the gear according to the trek and not by the day. Funny how that works since we went from 7 days to 5 days and I never told the lady who wrote us the original quote where we were going. I'd be cool if they had a no refund policy, but it's poor customer service to do business like this. C'est la vie, it's Peru and stuff like this can't ruin a trip, but just be aware that there are other outfitters in Cusco....especially right across from this place (Rosly).
