I can't say enough good things about this company. We were a group of 8 ladies and booked a 14 passenger van for the day. The van was super comfy, the price was unbeatable (I shopped around, A LOT). We booked a private driver, no guide, for the Chinchero, Moray, Salt Mines tour (pick up at Cusco airport to transfer to Ollantaytambo). We were greeted at the airport by a bilingual representative from the company who explained everything. It was a pleasant surprise to have him ride with us to Cusco town where we stopped to grab a bite to eat. He explained everything, answered all of our questions and only left when we were satisfied. He then left us in good hands with our driver, Jose. Jose had a warm smile, was super friendly, sweet, and accommodating.

I worked with both Percy/Hugo to book a tour to Machu Picchu. I reached out about 10 days in advance based on a recommendation and they were very accommodating with the tour request. I appreciated how responsive they were via email. Initially, I was worried that we wouldn't have enough time to see Machu Picchu because we only carved out one day, but it is totally possible if you book via Cusco Local friends, however it is a very long day so be prepared. Our tour guide, Abraham, met us once we got off the train in Agua Calientes and stayed with us until we were ready to return. He was so knowledgeable about the history of Machu Picchu and it was nice to have him to ourselves. I honestly can't think of visiting Machu Picchu any other way. Thanks Cusco Local friends for taking care of all of the logistics (hotel pick up, booking train ticket, booking bus ticket & entry ticket) you made my life easier and this trip was a very memorable one!

Me and my wife visited Machu Pichhu in the labor day long weekend in the month of September. Upon reading various good reviews, I decided to avail the services of Cusco Local Friend for our trip in Peru. I must say, it was a very good decision. Local Friend is a very flexible company and they mould the schedules as per our convenience. Our guide -Abraham, was the highlight of the trip. He was very very knowledgeable about the whole area of Cusco, Ollantaytambo and of course the beautiful Machu Picchu. He joined us early in the morning at our hotel and we went straight up to MP and started hiking the mountain. Abraham started explaining the Andes mountains, Amazon River and MP. His knowledge about the Inca empire is impeccable. He explained everything with patience and passion. They maintained time and punctuality and in a country like Peru where I didn't know Spanish Cusco local Friend really stood like a friend and are very genuine and not at all commercial unlike other tourist guides. They didn't even ask the final payment till they dropped me at the airport check in. That shows how non commercial that are. I would definitely recommend them any time. 5 stars for their service and hospitality.

I found Cusco Local Friend on Trip Advisor and after reading several positive reviews I decided to take the plunge and arranged 3 days with a private guide. The communication, organisation was professional and seamless. I get the impression that the norm on these private tours is a good modern clean vehicle, a competent and aimable driver and an English speaking knowledgeable local guide. Once our 3 day schedule was confirmed I decided to ask them to take care of organising a day in Machu Picchu this was also beautifully coordinated. I think the value for money is 10/10 and would definitely use Percy and his team again. Our guide was Hugo and our drivers were Richard and Edison, all great guys. My only negative comment is that these days are pretty tiring often with early starts and doing 4 in a row was a bit too intense. I'd recommend doing 2 days and then a chilling / shopping / hiking day to relax and rest before doing more days. I'm a sporty 46 year old and my travel companion was my 19 year old daughter. On the whole a fab experience, memories for life Many thanks Ashley & Morgane
