One of the easiest and most efficient Visas I have applied. It was our fault for going unprepared since we didn't do proper research on the required documents. On our first visit in the morning, the lady at the counter checked and informed us of the missing documents. We came back about 2 hours later and we were issued the visa within 15mins. There were at most 2 or 3 persons ahead of us. I am including a picture of the requirements printed on the window. For further information, i provided the following list of documents 1. Sworn Document. No way around this except going online to fill in the form, attach the required documents, print it out and sign. 2. Copy of passport 3. Copy of any hotel booking in Bolivia. Get a refundable one if you are unsure of your itinerary 4. Typed word document of the indicative itinerary with dates and locations 5. Copy of credit card back and front 6. Copy of bank statement. I provided a credit card statement not related to the credit card copy in item 5 7. Copy of transportation booking into Bolivia. Exit not required. I got a fully refundable bus ticket via Redbus. Use the app, it's convenient. 8. Copy of Yellow Fever vaccination card Note: original photo not required because it would have been uploaded when doing up sworn statement in item 1. I took a basic photo using a white background on my smartphone, then cropped and adjusted the size to 3cmx3cm as required. Note: this is for non US citizens. I understand that US citizens need to pay. It's free for most of the rest of the world.

Hassle free process. Passed my passport to the security guard for sign in and was directed to the visa processing room. The lady in the embassy took my printed forms and processed the visa in about an hour.

The process was very easy and straightforward (U.S. citizen getting a tourist visa). Just follow the online instructions. I submitted an online application, made copies of every document that I submitted online, brought them to the consular section, dropped them off, left for an hour to get breakfast, and came back. The visa was put into my passport within the hour. The female consular official was kind and efficient, even went over all the documents with me standing next to her as she reviewed them. The facility is clean and open (just a few steps from the front door out to the street). ¡Gracias!

We had a very good experience applying for our Bolivian visas at this embassy. We are US citizens and the process is difficult in general, made worse by there being almost no valid information online. The online application form is very frustrating! But the people at the office were helpful and patient and very quick to point us in the right direction. We found out that despite the Sworn Statement limiting the photo upload to 150kb size, the actual limit is only 75kb, hence why we could not get it to work. There is no work around either. No paper form or other options, it has to be the online statement. Once we finally got this all figured out, we brought the necessary items to the lady working the consulate visa application office and she got us our 10 year visas back within 24 hours. Very friendly and even tried to talk with us in English. She asked us how to say “have a good trip” at the end. We decided to do a full walkthrough of this process to help others since it was so confusing to us. If you need help, just search for Career Break Adventures and Bolivia Visa Lima or something of that nature. Good luck!

Hace dos meses que hice el trámite de mi pasaporte, desafortunadamente no puedo saber si ya puedo pasar a recoger, ya que nunca contestan, no hay secretaria que conteste el teléfono, llevo toda la mañana marcando y nunca responden.
