Delicious food. Specially pasta. I ate Timbal Rosalino and it was spectacular. Dishes are between 35 and 50 Soles.

I use to love Don Rosalino. Now, I feel like the quality and the service are not were they used to be. Most of their dishes are really heavy and again quality in their sauces seems to be an issue. Prices went up, nevertheless, most things went down. They could live with an smaller menu concentrating in the things they do best.

Good food takes time, so normally I don't mind waiting for an order. But the reality is that people go to restaurants when they're hungry, and that was of course the case with us. Good eateries understand this - that's why Mexican restaurants provide chips and Peruvian restaurants canchita. The Italian-theme of this restaurant made us hopeful for some kind of hearty, crusty bread, but we were given absolutely nothing. After waiting a while, I asked, and the waiter told us that while there was no complimentary bread, bread was available for purchase. That started off our unpleasant experience for the reasons mentioned above. So we decided to wait. Once the food finally came, I wanted something to mop up the sauce, so I asked what our options were. The waiter mentioned two, one being the house bread, which was supposed to have onions on top (it didn't). After he mentioned the onions, I asked if it was like foccacia, and his answer was "yes, it's similar" (it wasn't). When it came to the table, I could easily tell that it was twice-baked. I ate a roll (I'd call it a cheap, airy mini-croissant) and it tasted like some previously frozen junk "bread". I to complain twice to have them pull it off the check. Food itself was good, but the above disappointments cast a dark shadow over the experience as a whole.

Tremendously underrated. Hard to find a bad dish here. A very unusual match of home flavors with a proper professional cusine.

I had 2 incidents, a dirty knife and part of a Splenda bag in the drink, they changed the drink but charged it anyways. The waiter was excellent. Food are nice and the service is fast. It's pricey.
