We were picked up from our hotel in Mira Flores promptly. Our first stop was in Chorrillos to the fish market were we were shown some of the varieties of fish caught. Fisherman were repairing their nets and preparing for the next days catch. From there we went to a bustling local street market with small restaurants and fruit stand were we sampled local favorites. Then to Barranco to view street Murals each of which had cultural significance. Our tour guide did an amazing job and made us feel comfortable, I would highly recommend the Colors and Flavors Tour!

I did the cooking class with the market tour. Best fun experience in the city. The chef was so nice and knows a lot about food(ask him questions). I enjoyed the company every one was funny and we tried so many flavors. I don't know any better activity than this. You eat a lot of food and enjoy the journey from the market to your plate.

The shantytown tour was a lot of fun. Edwin or guide is a legitimate member of the community and it shows with the way the locals interact with him and everyone else on the tour. Haku is doing good community work in Villa El Salvador and your visit helps support those efforts. 2 thumbs up. Way up!

I highly recommend booking a tour with Haku Tours! They were able to book me on the tours I requested on very short notice, which I was very grateful for. The hotel pick-up was very convenient, the cars were clean and comfortable, and the drivers were great. I did the city tour as well as the Caral tour. I had Felipe as my guide for both tours and he was outstanding! He speaks excellent English and is very knowledgable about Peruvian history and culture. He is very passionate about his job and it shows. He was able to make both of my tours truly exceptional experiences!

We were very much looking forward to our tour with Haku in Lima. Unfortunately, our cruise was cancelled due to COVID-19. However, Haku was very responsive and refunded the deposit we paid for our tour. This customer service speaks volumes about the type of business Haku is, and their ethics. We would most certainly book with Haku when we have the opportunity to visit Peru in the future.

The market tour & cooking lesson were fun and interesting, I felt that our guide and also the chef really cared that the group gets a glimpse into Peruvian food culture (and with it, some of its history). The food we made, was delicious as well. All in all, a super experience.
