Traveled to Peru for the first time from The United States. Walked in and I immediately felt like I was in a friends house. The place is small and friendly. The waiter was friendly and joked with us. We ate one of the best meals of my life. We ate the parihuela (crab soup) octopus with avacado and tomato, and tacu tacu. It seems like a family run place, and the waiter said the cook has worked there for 30 years. You may not find it on the popular lists but if you want a true authentic Peruvian experience without the upscale downtown feel, head here. Possibly the best seafood, and overall meal ever for me. I can’t wait to come back to Peru and stop into my favorite place in Lima.

Amazing food made with love and passion. The food danced on my taste buds. A must visit. tip, do not wear tight clothing, you won't want to stop eating. Great attentive staff.
It started not not the best way. We came on a Sunday evening to find out that they are closing at 7 pm. Carlos, the owner, that figured out that we made all the way from Frankfurt and will stay hungry took is in his car and personally drove to another restaurant for dinner. We decided to make an effort to come back and due to a cancelled flight we found ourselves on the 31st December , new years eve in Lima. We came to Costazul to find out that they are almost closing. Carlos decided that he is inviting us in any case and kept the place open for us and another 2 couples. We got the best food in Lima and Carlos himself , Christian and the others made the evening outstanding. We felt as we were his private guests and he just offered to prepare for us as per his choice. I have not enough words to praise Carlos for the atmosphere , the food and the wine. You can see the pictures of what we had and every dish was super delicious. Carlos spent time with us, told about himself and family. We have now a friend in Lima.

Excellent seafood restaurant in Miraflores area. The restaurant has great ambience and lot of foreign people visit here. The food is excellent and cooking of the food is very authentic. The service is good will definitely visit again for the food. I love thier arroz con Marcos and sudado...
Amazing octopus! If you're in Lima, you have to try this place!
We went back a second time in one day to enjoy their Empanadas stuffed with Seafood. Sea Bass, shrimp and octopus if I remember correctly. Delicious.
