"We bring art with love to children with cancer" The goal of Catalina Art is to bring art to children with cancer in hospitals, shelters, private clinics or at home. Our job is to provide these children with a space for entertainment and joy through art; developing activities that allow them to express themselves naturally, deal with their emotions and be proud of the work they have done with their own hands. One of the main activities of Catalina Art is our volunteer program. Our volunteers meet with the children to develop personalized activities that help the children to focus their attention on art. The volunteer program was first implemented in March 2016 and we are currently are active in 6 different centers with 25 volunteers, have helped over 1800 children, implemented 3 art lounges in centers and hospitals and our founder received the Premio Grau (Peruvian equivalent to the Medal of Freedom) in 2017 for our efforts.
