Waiting for your turn takes roughly 95% of the time you spend in the center for visa application (which is not in the actual embassy, the visa center is 7 blocks away), the attention they give is equal to talking with a machine, process is slower than other embassies i have been to. Instructions on the web page and the ones given by the officials there are very vague. 1/5 well deserved

So helpful when we needed them. I'm proud we can count on our embassy to help us.

The slowest embassy to process a transit visa. It took over 6 weeks to get back to us on a TRANSIT VISA through Toronto, and my grandma missed her flight to Chicago (Having already a US visa). Disappointing on the lack of efficiency

Reasonably fast service by a slightly ditzy woman.

I'm a canadian that needed to have paper certified and Fax in a Canadian ministry. After waiting more then 10 minute in the street without being answered at the gate, I was not received in English nor French but in Spanish and the person that was at the security office could barely speak a couple english word to explain me to remove the things in my pocket. more then 15 minute later, once inside, iwas served by a receptionist that AGAIN, could barely speak French or English. After waiting for more then 15 minute in an empty waiting room, i was able to talk to an official bureaucrat that could barely understood what i told her. It took her about an hour to fax a simple form to the ministry. On my second visit ( after the same annoying process to get in etc..), i had to fax the birth cerificat of my son and i was answered that they do not offer this service when the ministry in Canada clearly mentionned i had to make it approve in the embassy and it hadto be fax from there and no where else. Not to point out that i clearly never saw a Canadian inside the embassy .....but not being able to be served in the Nation official language is even more annoying. I guess the service is just what the Canadian deserve....... a bunch of amateur !
