Worth the visit. Some of the photography is absolutely amazing. Great mix of things to see. Loved the Diana exhibit - pretty cool to see the various artifacts that were there. Happy to have seen this museum.

Nice photography museum at a walking distance from the Bridge of Sights picturesque district. Permanent and temporary exhibition. Please be aware most of the exhibit are « special taste »... you may love or hate depending of your tastes.
A beautiful presentation of Mario's works and pride of Peru . Some of his best work is present at this museum. You won't be disappointed even if you know nothing of this artist. Curators on hand to answer any questions you may have. A beautiful gift shop as well so save some space in your bag to take home some prints or unique MATE pieces.
An incredible place! If you are in Barranco you should visit this museum. It's not big, so it's possible to see everything in 40 minutes. The photographer Mario Testino is amazing and it was an honor to meet his work better.
Great presentation of Mario Testino's photography artwork. Although the first part was OK I must say that the Andean and Lady Diana's photography artwork was outstanding. The way you can feel humanity in those pictures is a gift that Mario has.
Excellent museum, fittingly located in the bohemian quarter of Barranco, showcasing the oeuvre of the master of fashion photography, the world-renowned Mario Testino, whose works appeared in the most major world fashion publications such as Vogue, GQ, and Vanity Fair, among others. Mario Testino is often credited with advancing careers of such celebrated supermodels as Kate Moss and Gisele Bündchen, and many of his now iconic images became trademarks of fashion and luxury brands Gucci, Versace, Burberry and Chanel, to name just a few. The museum consists of two buildings connected by an inner courtyard. The first one, facing the street, is completely dedicated to Testino's work as a star fashion photographer. A dedicated area features a video sequence, including interviews by Testino and images of his famous models. The second building offers two levels, with the ground floor serving as an exposition area for different artists and their artworks and installations, whereas the second floor exhibits the photographs of Testinu showcasing the indigenous people of his native Peru, their costumes and rituals. The last section (on the second floor) is entirely dedicated to Princess Diana, with the portraits done by Testino in the last year of her life (1997) as well as the original gown by Donatella Versace, one of the dresses the late Princess Diana wore for the photoshoot. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. If you arrive by the time the museums opens its doors, you are almost guaranteed to have the entire museum all for yourself.
Mario Testino is a super famous photograph that I’ve known from working with fashion. It was amazing to get to understand more of his trajectory, inspiration and work. My favorite part was of course, the photos about Peru with his unique POV. You really need to go if you are a fashion/art lover.
A wonderful showcase and testament to a brilliant photographer. For only 10 soles (5 on a Sunday), it was worth every penny. From celebrity shots, candid photography, historical images and the Princess Diana exhibit, the entire visit was fabulous. Changing temporary exhibits are definitely worth seeing also - a real treat. A must for any aspiring photographer or anyone wishing to see and appreciate the beauty of life through a lens.
