I took Linea bus from Trujillo to Lima, it was comfortable, left and arrived on time. The terminals can be quite busy, but overall felt safe enough even for a solo female. Plus the price is great!

One of the best buses i was! Its like airport so safe, they didnt stop to peoples on the way like most of the buses in south america. Good prices, good sits, good tv movies.
Always travel with Linea. Been traveling with the for years me and my family. Secure, always on time and they always take care of my luggages when traveling.
Very good
The check in and baggage was very smooth in Trujillo and they took 2 surfboards no problem (extra s/10 each). The terminal is clean and efficient with a handy cafe inside for coffee and snacks. However, the day bus to Huaraz was the WORST. the windows are covered and you can see barely anything out. We traveled by day deliberately to see the view but instead spent 9 hours in a windowless box... And then the Aircon broke. Avoid
Lines were one of the better bus lines we've used in Peru. Professional staff, relatively prompt. From Huaraz to Trujillo the double decker bus was nice though we splurged to ride downstairs (which I recommend). From Chiclao to Jaén was a single level bus and was not ideal. Old, the sound from the tv was piped directly above our heads and the speaker was crackly and terrible the whole time, difficult to tune out. The stations were clean and the staff were sure to check tickets before giving luggage which was a comfort.
I only stopped in here to get some information about where the bus station is. However, the workers were helpful. You definitely need to speak Spanish. I am not sure if you can get tickets here. Anyways, it is close to the center so it is convenient to visit.
Convenient, safe and comfortable bustrip. Friendly staff and bus was on time. Would be great if they could reduce the amount of plastic waste, with all the single-use plastic.
