It's a traditional place to enjoy after visiting the famous square. The ambiance is quite peculiar and old, service is good but not sympathetic. The food is tasty, try the traditional meat sandwich.

The food is tasty, and it comes fast. The staff (the waitress) could be more friendly since this is a very touristic place. I called her, and she completely ignored me.

Nice cafe/eatery with long tradition. Can be a little bit of a tourist trap but imho definitely worth a visit for its unique atmosphere. Even if it is just for a cafe...

Come here for the history, the history and for the food! Bar Restaurant Cordano, the first bar in Lima, started by Italian immigrant Luigi Cordano. Love that 80 year-old coffee maker, the ham sandwich is not weak either!

My girlfriend and I rented and rode our bikes here on Sunday when the streets were closed down. There is a bike rack out front and its next to the police station! I ordered the jamon del pias with a pilsen and she did the chichirone. This o lid you not is the best jamon sandwich I've had in all of my time in Peru! Definitely worth the traffic and bike ride there. Bring a map or use GPS, because it can be hard to find!

If you want to taste some Peruvian tradition, then Cordano is what you are looking for. Great service, cozy atmosphere and amazing traditional sandwiches and beer. 10/10. Dining area and bar with affordable but high-quality meals.

A classic! Their homemade ham sandwich is great! They have other good Peruvian food as well. Lots of history, tradition and flavor.

A traditional location in Lima near the Presidential Place that continues to serve delicious Peruvian Jamon Sandwiches. The charm of the location is original and takes one back in time. There are times when an original and classic location is more preferred than modern; this is one of them. We each enjoyed our respective sandwich; mixto de Jamon y Queso and Jamon Norteño.
