Definitely an Indiana Jones experience! I highly suggest this to any traveler looking for an authentic jungle experience, with the comforts of home at reach. The lodge is well screened for insect protection; comfortable beds and bathrooms, with a staff that's eager to please. Don't expect any warm showers though! There are plenty of activities to do: piranha fishing; hiking through the rainforest, canoeing and more. Our tour guide Jonathan was very informative; and was always looking for an activity that was a little more challenging for us than before; whether it be a new trail or boating expedition that took more effort in terms of stamina. There's wifi in the east wing with surprisingly fast download speeds. Had a harder time uploading a video; but that's ok; it's the rainforest.

A truly amazing experience in the Amazon. Highly recommend! The staff is very professional and work with you to ensure an enjoyable experience catered to your preferences. The accommodations were very well maintained and the food was great. No complaints whatsoever. If you are looking for a unique experience in the Amazon, look no further.
We visited the Amazon for our first time in March this year and stayed at the Tahuayo Lodge. The experience was much better than we expected! The rooms in the lodge were very spacious and fairly new. The stay included all of our food, airport transportation, and private guide. Our private guide Ronald was honestly the best! We learned so much about the wildlife and local people living in the Amazon from him. It was both an eye-opening and educational experience. If you are looking to visit the Amazon through Iquitos, look no further than Tahuayo Lodge!
Incredible diversity, unbelievable 5 star service in the middle of nowhere.
It is quite clean and have a good view over the Amazon river at the back.
