Easily one of the best trips I've ever been on. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The views from the lodge were spectacular and the rooms were extremely comfortable. The food was delicious - we had a hearty breakfast each morning to prepare for the hike. Lunch to bring with us on our hikes, and an amazing dinner to come back to each evening. Charlie was a great host, gave great hiking tips, and was great company. This is definitely the place to stay if you want to hike in the Cordillera Blanca mountains area.

My husband and I stayed at Llanganuco Mountain Lodge in August 2017 and ABSOLUTELY loved it! It's the only accommodation that is on the edge of the park in walking distance to some hikes and a short drive from others. Everywhere else is literally HOURS back and forth. If the sheer distance isn't enough to convince you, the rooms are so cozy, the food and ambiance is amazing and the views are incredible. Charlie and his team were so hospitable. It felt like we were staying in his home. Can't speak highly enough about Llanganuco Mountain Lodge!

Me and my husband spent a couple of nights at Llanganuco Mountain Lodge last September and I can say that it was one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. Having visited around 50 countries, I can definately put this place among my top-5 hotel experiences. The lodge is perfectly located in the midle of the Andes Mountains, near lakes and easy treks, has awesome views (including sunset views), and Charlie, it's owner, is super helpful and friendly - besided, he gives the guests the best trekking tips to Llanganuco lakes and Laguna 69 (folow his instructions and you will have the best ever experience of the lakes and the laguna). Food is also amazing, as LML has a professional chef to cook to his guets, and breakfast, lunch and dinner are well balanced for hikers. I wish I could had more days at LML, and I recommend staying here and living this experience to all travellers, hikers or not.

My husband and I stayed at Llanganuco Mountain Lodge in January 2016 and had one of the most amazing experiences of our life! Everything was fantastic from the coordination of getting from bus station to the lodge, to the accomodations, to the food! We went on amazing hikes every day with a great local guide. You'll even get spectacular views of the mountains just looking out your bedroom window! I highly recommend going to LML- we can't wait to get back here one day.

Perfect base camp for activities in the park. Very friendly and helpful staff. Warm and cosy atmosphere. I'd love to return someday to explore more in this stunning area.

The lodge is located perfectly between the two cordilleras. You will find peace and pure nature and there are so many beautiful trekking alternatives! And to top the experience, Charlie makes you feel at home and in the best hands! The food is delicious and you will only want to stay longer! It was the perfect setting for our engagement :)

I fell in love with the Cordillera Blanca and it was mainly because of our amazing stay at LML. The location is just perfect! You wake up to the most magnificent views and can get really quickly to any of the trails. Charlie's hospitality and knowledge of the area were also really helpful. We were as a family with our little son and were not sure if it would be the right decision but it all worked out pretty great. We'll be back for sure and can't recommended it enough!

The perfect home base for day trekking in the area (Laguna 69 and more). The postcard view, comfortable rooms, hot showers/baths, fantastic food, location right by the national park, Charlie and his wonderful team... everything aspect of my stay was so thoughtfully planned and executed. I also enjoyed meeting other trekkers during meal times. This was the highlight of my time in Peru, can't wait to come back!
