Unbelievably gorgeous spot outside of Huaraz. Great access to multiple trail-heads in the National Park, and I cant recommend enough the dinners that are served. The drive from town may turn you around a bit, but this was by far the best accommodations I stayed at during my time in Peru!

We had a lovely stay at Churup Mountain Lodge. Our room was comfortable, and the food was tasty but the best thing about our stay was the staff, Eva and her team. Eva's knowledge, helpfulness and enthusiasm for the area meant we made the most of our time there. The website is also very informative regarding walks and activities in the area. You should check it out. The lodge is definitely quite expensive for fairly basic accommodation. But it is peaceful, stylish and spotlessly clean, and must certainly be one of the best options in the area.
We had a great stay and Eva was awesome. She gave us valuable tips for hiking tours. The room was cozy with its own oven. Also the food was very good. It would be nice if there were some hammocks or daybeds outside to relax after hiking.
Staying in the lodge has been one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I honestly did not expect it to be so cozy and to have such an amazing staff. Getting there can be a bit tricky, but utterly rewarding once you realize how surrounded by nature you really are. All the accommodations were perfect, amazing rooms, ultra confortable beds, and really good food. Would recommend 10/10.
Thought it would be over the top, but we had such a great time! Relaxing atmosphere, very friendly and great service. The food is delicious, rooms are very charming (including wood stove!). Also perfect location to start day hikes from the lodge. Recommended if you don't need to be in Huaraz (a lot) and looking for a great combination of altitude acclimatisation and relaxation!
The Churup Mountain Lodge was a pleasant surprise. It sits in a beautiful location. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Also, the food served was delicious.
Loved every bit of it. Quiet and beautiful. Ideal for a getaway. I definitely recommend this lodge to everyone who wishes to experience some relaxing days out of town.
We stayed at the lodge for 3 nights and had an excellent experience. The lodge is beautifully designed, super clean and comfortable. Food is fresh and delicious, with products grown on-site or sourced locally. Staff were very helpful and we loved the small touches - like returning each night to a fire already lit in our room. Located just a few minutes drive (or short walk) from some beautiful hikes like Laguna Churup. Highly recommended. We hope to return again next year! Thanks to Eva and all the staff for an excellent stay!
