We went to an 8 day trip to Manu park. It was terrific. The whole crew was super professional, the guide, cook and drivers. Every meal was delicious, and there was a lot of them! Jose the guide was great. Explained every detail and answered every quistione he could. Very recommend for a trip to Manu park.

We went with Vilca 3 Times. We did Machu Picchu, Rainbow Mountain and Manu national park. We enjoyed each of our tour. Guides was good especially on Manu - driver and also our guide Jose were excelent. We loved it and feel safe with him. So recommend.
They told us they Can pick UP us to the bus but no one came. So we call taxi for join the terminal on time. but the bus start without us because the agence told us the wrong Time of start. So we call a taxi again to reach the bus. We reach the bus After 1 hour of taxi. An advice dont go with this agence
Really nice staff throughout the booking process and tour. The guide was really knowledgeable, we saw lots of animals. The food was actually excellent which is rare for these kind of tours. Also, added bonus being that it was much cheaper than other Amazon tours offered, despite all tours taking you to the same places (the clay lick to see macaws for example). No one else booked onto the tour the same day as we did so we pretty much had a private tour. I’d recommend taking small change with you, we didn’t take much money at all and found we wanted to tip various people along the way but couldn’t.
The 4 day programme tot the cultural zone of the manu park was really fabulous. Our guide lucho was humorfull and had a quality spotting scope. After searching for the best option in price and more importantly in quality of service we decided for Expediciones Vilca, that stood out for its long experience as a local agency. Thanks also to the office personnel for sorting a good itinerary out.
Manu Vilca's tours can be up to 16 people which is far too many if you want to see animals in the jungle. We went on a 3 night/4 day trek into Manu with this agency. The accommodations and meals were good but the single guide we had for 12 people was overwhelmed and under prepared. He only had 1 pair of binoculars and was a bit rude to the folks on the trip. He also didn't have as much knowledge of the animals and animal behavior in the region as I would have expected. Manu Vilca may have other better guides but ours left plenty to be desired.
Rainbow mountains tour We had a very bad experience with the Manu vilca agency. The bus drive to the rainbow mountains was horrible. They used a 50 persons bus, so a very large bus. First negative point: The "streets" are not made for a bus this size. Almost all other companys used small busses for about 10 persons. It is highly dangerous to pass the small paths with the big busses. It is just a matter of time until an accident will happen with this kind of big busses. We felt very uncomfortable during the drive through the mountains. Another downside of the big bus is that you are the first one who gets picked up early in the morning but one of the last ones who arives at the rainbow mountains. We drove about 1,5 hours through Cuzco to pick up everyone in the morning. Therefore, we would not recommend this agency. Definitely try to book a small bus and ask for pickup/arrival times. Everything else is dangerous and irresponsible in our opinion. We think the most important aspect for Manu Vilca tours is to make money, safety is less important.
We die the 4 days 3 nights tour. Well organised, save driver, vertrekken good guide and good dood. Only the lodge was a bit old buy they are building new ones for next year. We had a great time!
