Amazing cooking class! You go to the local market with chef, who teaches you about the history and evolution of food in Cusco. He teaches how to pick out the best fruits, meats, and bread for the meal! Then you head back to his BEAUTIFUL kitchen and he shows you how to prepare and cut the fruits/ vegetables. He also teaches you how to make the national drink—Pisco Sour!! Amazing class; it was the highlight of our Cusco trip!

Absolutely fantastic class - we learned so much about the culture of Peruvian food and how to shop at the market before beginning the class which was informative and so much fun. The meal we cooked was absolutely delicious - and the Pisco Sour was incredible. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in Peruvian food!!

Had a great time at Ronals cooking class! We met and went to the market where he brought us all around to the different vendors and explained what everything was. He was able to answer any questions we had and gave us recommendations for where to go in the market for food which was a great help as we had a lot of time in Cusco! We returned and tried samples of the different foods he had gotten and then we started cooking. We made pisco sours, trout ceviche and papas rellenas. Once we were finished cooking we went upstairs to eat and have our pisco sours. The food tasted amazing will definitely be trying out the recipes when I return home! Really good value for money and such an informative and enjoyable day as Ronal works with smaller groups so you really learn a lot and have a great experience. Would recommend for anyone thinking about doing a cooking class in Peru!

This experience exceeded our expectations from the knowledge we learned to the food we prepared! We had such a fun time exploring the local market, learning about real, authentic ingredients and how they are used, as well as history of the foods and area. Yohon holds so much great knowledge and his love and passion for traditional foods comes through in sharing it. The ceviche, papas rellenas and pisco sour we prepared were the best we had in Lima!!
