Went a few years back and I'm coming back with a group of friends. Looking forward to it. A beautiful experience you could not begin to describe.

CAISAE Ayahuasca Retreats

Beautiful or excellent service with indigenous shamans of the amazonian jungle, reliable and guaranteed professional service. the retreats are taken care of by women shaman assistants. The retreat center is in nature and has the services you need for retirement.

Singlehandedly the greatest experience (March 2019). I think this is the best place in Cusco and the woman running the shop is amazing. I was skeptical participating solo as a 21 year old but it exceeded expectations. Will definitely take part again if I ever come back to Cusco

Be aware of this place. It is a business, not a healing center. The Volcano water they insist you drink, ended up making me very ill. They insisted it was normal and that I should continue. Upon arrival at the temple, it was empty. After about an hour, a Shaman arrived. He said I was too sick to proceed, but I was not allowed to leave until the boss, Johana, let me. It was about another hour until she arrived, and when she did, she insisted I go forward with the ceremony. I had to bed for her to let the driver take me back to Cusco. There was no multiple shaman, no translators, and no medical doctor as advertised. I did not feel comfortable or safe. Upon return to the office, they refused to give me a refund even though their toxic water made me sick. I had to threaten to get the US embassy and Peru police involved. At this point, they finally agreed. This was good, because I ended up needing medical care. I was prescribed several medications for an infection, and now must continue care here in the US. I'm not sure how this place has positive reviews, I suspect they hire people to write them. The main office is under construction and everything is covered in filth and dust, and there is no bathroom. I'm not sure what they do when they do ceremonies at the office. I am a nurse, and I find this place very unsafe.

Not recommended! I was really not happy with my Wachuma ceremony there. It is a business and they only want your money. They dont care much about you. It has nothing got to do with Shamanic work and honouring Mother Earth. There was no translator, no real ceremony and they made me feel very sick with their volcanic water. They forced me to drink a lot of it and wanted me to hike shortly after. It was awful!

My ayahuasca ceremony was one of the most painful but at the same time most beautiful experiences I have been through. I felt comfortable and safe during the whole process. My shamana was just absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend Caisae, very professional.

I recently returned home from a two week trip to Cusco and Patapata in order to both volunteer and participate in ayahuasca ceremonies. provided myself and many others authentic, experienced guidance throughout the ceremony and beyond in an idyllic setting. The medicine itself is profoundly transformational and knows you better than you know yourself. The healing properties of ayahuasca are immeasurable and simply priceless. The medicine heals on all levels. You may not get what you want but the medicine will always give you exactly what you need. The ceremonies are conducted in a safe environment with compassionate shamans of the highest integrity. I highly recommend Caisae for anyone considering a journey with this highly respected and remarkable medicine.

Went in to enquire about an ayahuasca retreat. Got a shady vibe from the people there. I was originally interested but hearing them made me hesitant. I didn't have the money to pay the full price then. A few hours later I expressed that I didn't think I was ready. They proceeded to refuse to pay back the twenty sole reservation even though the date was over a week away (and only made a few hours earlier). Glad I didn't pay the exorbitant price and put my trust into people that would overgo my feelings for twenty soles.
