Esteban is a wonderful host who welcomed us and made sure were taken care of. Because of his service we will visit again when in Lima! Rosa with her magic hands made the pain of 12 hour flight dissapear. It is not a high end salon but the service is. The concept of employing visually impaired staff very innovative and human centric. Loved the experience!
A friend recommended this place. So I bought a package of 5 relaxing massages and today is the third time I go: first massage gave me more tension than I already had, I was in pain for 3 days. The massage was stressful not relaxing! 2nd massage was superficial, the lady seemed bored and like she was falling asleep. The 3rd massage was completely random. The masseuse kept checking the time every 10 minutes at first, then every 5 minutes then ended up cutting it short. It was meant to be a full body massage which ended up being only back neck and feet. It was very amateur. Didn’t feel good, was not relaxing, didn’t help fix anything. Complete waist of money and time. Except for the first guy who at least knew how to find the knots, but then was so tough it was more like a torture, the 2 other masseuse were huffing and puffing, felt like they didn’t want to be there and they had no clew how to massage. Terrible experience repeated 3 times hoping every time I’d get someone knowledgeable. Forget about the 2 last massages!
Fantastic deep tissue massage! Even with my limited Spanish, I was able to ask/receive more or less pressure. They do a great job of finding/relieving the tension knots. A few notes: Cash only. Not a fancy 'spa', but great service. They did not use a bolster/ rolled towel under knees/ankles, but I've noticed that consistently in South America, so maybe it's a USA thing?
Excellent service and prices! Did an hour massage the first time, but after coming back from Machu Picchu I went with friends for a two hour one and it was heavenly! Although slightly out of the way from the touristy part of Miraflores, the price per hours is easily under half of what other places were charging (about 34 for one hour, 70 for 2) and just half a block north (at Av 28 de Julio) is Don Mamino where you can get a meal or sweets afterwards, so it is worth the trip!
