Been out of the states craving Mexican food for a while now. Wow, this burrito did not disappoint. The tortillas really make it. Had the veggie burrito with spicy salsa (could have been hotter but I’m not mad), and it was just as good as many Cal-Mex burritos I’ve had. For being all the way in Peru, they’re getting pretty damn close to a legit burrito. I wanted to eat a second one when I finished the first.
Yummy!! Fresh ingredients, generously filled tacos / burrito, friendly staff, very reasonable prices. What more to wish for. No nonsense decoration, entrance is easy to miss :) mildly spiced not spicy, spicy sauce available also on the side. Vegetarian options present (probably also vegan if you leave out cheese and sour cream) and for gluten free there are corn tacos and salads (maybe cross contamination). The bill was 51 pesos for one burrito, two tacos, small bowl of rice and two Coronas. Would definitely go back when being around! Thanks for serving us!
Excellent TexMex option in Barranco. Burritos are a good size with vegetarian options including tofu.
They didn't have their sign out so almost walked right past it - talk about a hidden gem. Good value, huge burrito, great for vegetarians and super tasty. Definitely worth a visit (or two)
Burritos were tasty and very large. Price is also good. Not much of a setting but good for a quick bite. Also well located near the plaza so handy. Not open on Mondays.
I liked it but the 5 stars come because my fiance literally won't shut up about "the best burrito she has ever had". We had a breakdown in communication - we didn't speak Spanish - which led to our order not being submitted however when we realised they sorted it out and even gave us a free drink. It was 99% our fault but it was great to see them making sure we left full, happy and with a warm feeling about the team here. If you're in Barranco pop in for "the best burrito"
This place is great! Burritos and tacos are really nice (I just tried the sofritas) The cocktails are inexpensive but well put together for a fast food. And the staff is very friendly and helpful, they all speak English to some extent.
