My wife and I took a foodie tour with Arturo from Lima Tasty Tours while in Lima, Peru and it was amazing. We started out the day by going to a local market where he took us through all of the organic fruits and vegetables which are natively grown in Peru. Inside the market, we tried fruits that I've never heard of and some that I have had in the US but the flavor was so much better. After the market, we went for lunch at a local restaurant in downtown. From the outside, you may never think to stop but you would be missing out on a treat. Arturo ordered for us and his choices were out of this world! The flavors we're nothing I've had before and I took notes so I could try cooking the dishes when I'm back in the US. The food is amazing here and you need a local guide to point you in the right direction.

Incredible cultural and culinary experience with such a charismatic and knowledgeable guide! We learned so much about Peruvian history, culture and food! We saw parts of Peru we would have missed out on if we didn't go in this tour. Such a wonderful experience that I would recommend to everyone!
