Really nice stylish hotel with a hostel vibe. The Selina concept has both dorms and private rooms as well as a nice kitchen and a coworking area. The staff is really helpful and the overall atmosphere is very layback. It is two blocks away from the Plaza de Armas.

Overall i quite enjoyed the stay here. Opted for a standard room with private bath which overlooked the courtyard. Sure, the music can be a pain if you’re trying to head to sleep early, but the staff are friendly and attentive, the room, bedding and bathroom properly clean, and the location is spot on. I would not only recommend the place, but also the chicken burger and fried potato wedges… so good.

I wish we had more time to enjoy the facilities! We stayed at the Selina for one night, as we were heading to Aguas Calientes the next morning. They have a beautiful common space that includes a piano, an attached restaurant, and just a walk away from the Plaza. Staff was helpful, accommodating, and were able to speak to us in English. They took care of getting a cab for us early morning the next day, to take us to the train station. We had a lovely stay and I look forward to coming back in the near future. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

I stayed in a tipi in the garden which had a nice design. Very quiet, towels for free and the bed was super comfy. However, it got quite cold at night. The staff provided me with extra blankets but I still had to sleep with jacket, beanie and 3 pair of socks. So any kind of heating system would be nice to have. The hostel itself seems not to be the most social one. So if you’re traveling solo and wanna meet people it might not be the best place. Despite the two woman at the reception who were very kind and helpful the other staff was kind of rude. When I extended my stay one said I have to pay the same amount as the days before. Later, when I wanted to pay, the guy suddenly wanted the twice amount which I refused to pay.

I do not typically write reviews on google but I want to make sure this goes on here, hostel world and booking. Com. WARNING one of their staff goes through people’s things!!! In front of two other staffs who then apologized for his bad behavior. What made this even worse was the staff did it around other customers who were hanging out around the common area. Made me wonder what other inappropriate behavior he does when customers are not around!
Only reason I picked this hostel because I met a traveling buddy who recommended this place, nothing special about this hostel that sticks out. It’s clean and hip but when one staff behaves inappropriately in front of other staff and no one cared to stop him that’s something to be careful about!!!
The other two staff who stood there watching one of their fellow co worker behave so poorly apologized profusely. Touching other people’s food even though it’s labeled properly with my name and date on it is highly unacceptable behavior!!! I was worried that I was going to get sick from him touching my food.
Also, room key to room 304 doesn’t work properly and staff never did anything about it. So if you’re in hurry to get into this particular room well good luck.

The breakfast wasn’t the best of the all hostel we visited in cusco, but the private rooms were really nice.
