It is really a good place for us to know the mystery and the greatness of the nature. You will find various animals and plants that you’ve seen from the documentaries on television by your own eyes. The big nests of different ants, the different kinds of monkeys, lovely otters, so many beautiful birds, encounters with kinds of snakes, lizard, crocodile, tarantula, etc. Anyway you will find all possibilities here. And you will be really shocked from how the nature itself is. It was really fantastic and exciting experience here. Just like a kiss with the nature. Amazon rainforest, it’s worthy to visit it again

The excursion on the Sandoval’s lake was amazing and our guide Bastian Condori Canasi was really great. Strongly recommend.

This reserve offers little in terms of infrastructure but it's still an incredible and pristine tropical rainforest.

We visited Tambopata National Reserve on December 2019 and we stayed at Refugio Amazonas, one of the lodges managed by the local Infierno Community through Rainforest Expedition. They have done a great job recovering the area next to the reserve recovering fauna and wild life has repopulated the area; from the lodge which is an amazing experience to stay we had several excursions to learn of the local flora in particular Brazilian nuts trees which provides a way of living to the local communities in balance with nature. We also had the opportunity to visit the macaws clay lick which is the largest in the world. An amazing experience for us to see for the very first time wild macaws. In conclusion the experience was amazing from our arrival to Puerto Maldonado and transportation by minibus and boat to Refugio Amazonas. Let’s support the local communities in the Amazon Basin visiting Tambopata National Reserve through Rainforest expedition staying at least 2 or ideally no less than three nights at Refugio Amazonas for an “amazoing” experience

The forest had so many kinds of animals from howler monkeys to macaws. I loved this trip because of the biodiversity of animals and plants.
