Amazing place in nature with comfortable luxury accommodations and great people. Forest is unique and conservation efforts are the real deal.

This place was amazing. The staff and service were excellent. From the moment we got to Puerto Maldonado, we got picked up and shuttled to the Amazon Planet office. From there it was a boat ride to the lodge. The rooms were great and the jungle was just a few yards away. The food was 5 stars.

Spent four amazing days here. Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Food was top notch...Benjamin is an amazing chef. The tours of the rain forest were very well done and the guides are extremely knowledgeable.

This was an amazing experience and my favorite part of our 2 week trip to Peru. We did the 4 night stay and did all the activities. Our guide Luis was super friendly and answered all of our questions. He went out of his way to make sure our experience was a great one. They fed you three full meals a day. Breakfast had eggs, bread, fruit, and cereal. Both lunch and dinner was very filling and the food was fresh and healthy and both came with dessert. I began to love Peruvian cuisine because of this place. They also have a bar with delicious drinks. Yes, they turn off the electricity because they run on generators. However, the electricity is usually turned off when you are off on an activity or asleep. The accommodations were very comfortable, however you have to remember that you are staying in the middle of the jungle and 90 minutes away from the city, so you're not going to have 5-star resort accommodations. My favorite part was spending time with the family from the Ese-Eja tribe. I also loved going up the suspension bridge to the tree tops to take a view from a top of the jungle. There was not one activity that I did not love. If you just want a place where you can have Wi-Fi and play on your phone all day and watch TV and have the same food and drinks at home, this is not the place for you. If you truly want a vacation and a break from everything and experience the Amazon with friendly people and everything taken care of you, then I would recommend booking a stay here.

The price was reasonable, and the food was great. They got lovely staffs working for them. However, the facility was suck. The mosquito net in the rooms was a joke. It was too small and smelly...They should improve the cleaning of the room. Besides, they cut the power after 10 pm. It means there would be no fan, it made the room like an oven.

Loved our stay here! The rooms are adorable and have views to the jungle or river where we saw monkeys in the morning right off of our deck! All of our tours were amazing with knowledgeable guides that pointed out lots of animals and plants and the food served was really good! My 4 days in the Amazon at Amazon Planet were some of the highlights of my trip to Peru!
