We got into Ollantaytambo at 11pm, lost on the streets looking for an open hostel.Katy the owner graciously opened the door for us and provided us a beautiful 3 person private room with a bathroom. The hostel is clean and quiet. Katy also arranged a private driver for us the next day to tour Moray, Maras, Chinchero, and drive back to Cusco. Look no further for hospitality in Ollantaytambo!

This is a very cute little hippie hostal. She is very nice. Rooms very clean and everything worked. The wifi wasn't working when we were there. Breakfast was bread and coffee.
This is a great spot! The owner Kathy was very friendly and helpful, with a wealth of information and local connections. It was clean, comfortable and had a nice community feel. The price was also affordable and well worth it. Breakfast of bread/butter, eggs and coffee/tea. A quick walk to the village center.
Katy was an incredible host. She has a beautiful place that is welcome to all people. The most adorable dog and cat. She is actually using the profit she gets from the hostel to give back to local communities. She organizes excursions for kids who wouldn't normally get the opportunity to visit places such as Machu Picchu so they can learn about the culture in the Peruvian Andes. She is a wonderful human and I highly recommend anyone stay at this hostel.
I love this hostel so much. The owner Katy(Ka-T) is kind, thoughtful, and helpful. She takes such care in creating a beautiful place to stay in. The common areas are exceptional. There are a couple animals there that I came to love, Winny the dog, and the cutest new born kitten, gatito. It is just a few minutes walk form the main square which is a blessing for reduced noise.
Cool little place with a great location. Cool cats. Hot shower did work with 2 of the ppl I was with but the other didn't. Guess the knob has a sweet spot.
i stayed there for 3 or 4 days and I didn't have a hot shower for any of those days. The location was great the price was great the bed was ok. It does not have 24 hour access. The computer didn't work. The continental breakfast was good.
Katy is the best host I've ever met. Really know everything about the hospitality. The location is the best, with gorgeous view of the mountain and the stars, like you can find it in the name of the place. Nice, cosy and clean rooms, very friendly and familiar atmosphere we found there. And one recomendation to the guests for the future: take a short time shower, and others also will find hot water! :-) Peace
