For the price you pay product it is really good product. Excellent attention and a very clean place. In my case the room lack of TV (which honestly don't care) and no heating system (which could be a problem during cold season). My room had a small balcony and the noise Dr the lateral street was notorious. I suggest you to get an internal room.

Owner offered to arrange area tours with third parties, in addition to our booked stay for May 2020. We paid 50% as deposit for all-day Sacred Valley tour. As a result of pandemic, Peru is closed to foreigners and all international flights cancelled. Lockdown ordered within Peru. Can only travel domestically with a permit (ask foreigners trying to coordinate with their embassies to leave the country). Requested refund and received email promising refund, but asking for patience, due to the pandemic. Waited patiently for several weeks. No refund. Wrote a second time. No response. Waited a few more weeks. Wrote a third time last week. No response. Outcome: owner stole my money.

We could not have a better experience during our trip to Macchu Picchu. Hotel was comfortable and has clean room and bathroom. If you have decided to stay at Olantaytumba for Machu Picchu trip, this is the best place to stay. We are family of five including 2 kids and mother-in-law , and we stayed 2 night at Olantaytumba to acclimitize to altitude and to visit MP before going to Cusco. This is in center of city and 2 minutes away from olantaytumbo ruins, and approx. 10 min walk away from train station. Owner Kati printed our MP tickets. We enjoyed free breakfast. In short thanks to the owner Kati we had the best experience at Dona Catta.

The room is tourist quality. The bathroom sink only has cold water, not unusual for tourist class hotels in Peru. There is no heat other than a small oil-filled space heater. Breakfast includes granola and yogurt, eggs, ham, cheese, fruit, fresh-squeezed orange juice, and coffee or tea. Our room had only one plug between the two rooms (the triple) and one in the bathroom. Nice hot shower!! The rooms are neat, serviced daily, and cold in the winter (July and August).

We really like Ollantaytambo and especially Dona Catta Inn. Cati was a wonderful host. She was always ready to help and advise. The breakfasts were delicious.
