We had a very bad experience. they Don’t follow padi procedures, my girlfriend had a panic attack during her open water course because after only a 2 hour pool session, we entered water that would give an experienced diver trouble. The instructor did not check her weight belt which fell off as she entered. He then told her to not let go of it, even though padi rhetoric says to not hesitate to drop your weights at the surface. After her experience my girlfriend never wants to dive again. Adding to all of this, I took the peak performance buoyancy course and received almost zero instruction and a book from 2011 which I wasn’t even allowed to keep. All said and done, if you want to learn nothing and probably scare yourself out of ever diving again, go for it.

The guys were really nice, did 2 good dives at the oil rig. Really worth doing

I'm a pretty inexperienced diver, but I liked the staff and dive sites. At the oil rig there were a lot of critters attached to the old structure, and we were lucky enough to see dolphins on the surface, and a sea lion below. The second dive was far more challenging, as the visibility was low and the current was strong. But even with my mere 2 dives under my belt, I was fine. Yes, the equipment is kinda old, but when I looked at the stamps and stickers the tanks had been inspected and I had no issues with the octopus or anything. I can understand Spanish, but having a staff that knows English fluently was an added comfort. My only complaint was that my dive buddy wasn't much of a "be the leader but stay close" kind of diver, and considering he was earning his advanced certificate through this shop he should have known/been instructed better on that point.

I did my Padi Open water and my Adventure with them, and it was absolutly wonderful. The staff is gentle and professional, they speak english and spanish. The oil reek is beautiful, it's very unique and full of aquatic life

Had two great dives at El Nuro, shallow but full of life...lots of turtles, seahorse, octopus, diving comorant, and much more. Great staff and equipment.

Very bad experience with this diving center. We booked two dives for 4 persons several days before and when we arrived the given day, ready to dive, we had been replaced. Our friends who came specially for this by plane could not dive at all. Nothing was offered to compensate this, we just had to leave. It looks like this center takes benefit of the fact it is the only one in the area, and doesn't really care about customers.
