The food is nutritious, but basic. Arrive no later than 1 p.m. to get a table. The place fills up quickly and they sell out of the meal of the day quickly as well. Recommended if you are already in this part of town but I would not make a special trip. As of January 2020 the meal of the day costs ten soles.

This place was amazing. If you are vegan or vegetarian you MUST eat here! The woman who owns and runs it does not speak any English but she understood enough of my broken Spanish to know I was vegan and served me the most amazing vegan comfort food! And amazing, amazing prices. She was so kind: even though I couldn’t figure out how to make small change, she did not take advantage and gave me the correct change. Truly the restaurant of light and health!
Excellent place! Food is good and the place feels more like home than a restaurant really. Even if you are not vegetarian, give it a go!
Exceptional little cheap lunch here. Very homey, very vegetarian (rare in lima, ask for any vegetarian plates in many restaurants people just laugh... And say, and assume "no", even when the answer is yes). Great cozy atmosphere, this place would have been at home in barranco 30 yrs ago before it got wealthy.

Me encantó! Hay bastante variedad de comidas, también hay menú de 9 a 10 soles, la atención súper rápido, la comida riquísima, el personal muy amable. 100% recomendado.
