Great surf school. The instructors make a real effort to help you learn how to surf. Oscar was our instructor and he was especially helpful. He also speaks excellent English which is also very helpful. The gear is pretty standard and well maintained.

If you are in Miraflores and have any interest in surfing, you should take a lesson. Pukana is super affordable and all of the equipment is included. Lorenzo helped my 9 year old get up on his first try. He was great. The young man is hooked on the sport now. This outfit is truly worthy of 5 stars.
I head a great 1:1 session today! William is a great teacher, took really good care of me and gave me valuable feedback so I improved my surfing a bit and most importantly I got to know Makaha beach. The material I got was good and the school even offers shoes which are included in the booking. If you want to get pictures or videos of you surfing, they have team members that can make this possible as they surf next to you with a GoPro.
The best surf school in Miraflores. The instructors speak english, know what they do and really care about you when you want to learn surfing. I can only recommend this place as I have been surfing there regularly for more than 2 months. Huge amount of different surfboards of all sizes. Also trustworthy when it comes to leave you stuff there while surfing. The surf trips on the weekend are well organized as well.

I had a great first experience at Pukana. Practical and concrete advice for "getting on board" and standing up I recommend going in the morning when it's not too sunny...
