Warning: 1) Yakumama is a BROKER, not a tour operator. They will book you with another agency and charge you more for another agencies tour (in our case literally double for an Amazon King tour). 2) As they don't provide tours, they don't take responsibilities and try to escape blame for things that aren't provided. In our case, our "jungle tour" contained only a 3 hour hike in the jungle, a number of activities were changed or excluded with mundane activities like a staged visit with a local tribe (where they basically tried to sell us necklaces), and our dietary requests were ignored. Yakumama refused all responsibility and we had no recourse at all against it. 3) This is a dishonest business, with a number of fake reviews from friends/family (all with just 1 review on Google, all with short/impersonal text ). The owner himself reviewed his business! Check the reviews carefully and you'll easily spot a huge number of fakes. 4) It contains activities that are cruel to animals. For example an "animal sanctuary" where animals who are ready to be released into the wild are instead offered to be touched animals/have fotos taken with. (There are real sanctuaries in the area but the one we saw in the tour was a clear sham and run like a petting zoo.) Save your money and be a good citizen, avoid Yakumama.

It was nice to know the Amazon with my friend and guide Leonel, the crossing was interesting the rain grabbed us in the middle of the Amazon painting the landscape with a mystical tone and with adrenaline, the Amazon river really has a very strong flow, the rest of the tour the sun He smiled at us making the tour very happy! Recommended without a doubt!
