I loved my stay at Nativa Apartments Boutique Hotel. It was a real home away from home. It was quiet but just a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Iquitos. The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable with a lovely kitchen and dining area and an en suite shower room. Monica was the lovely lady in charge. She was warm, friendly, chatty and always very helpful. She speaks Spanish and English (and probably other languages too). Friends of mine who were staying at a Hilton Hotel preferred the space and comfort of Nativa and took business cards so that they could stay there next time. Highly recommended and perfect for female travellers too. Thank you Nativa!

A supernice place with a personal touch! Very clean, nice furnished apartment (with AC!) in harmonic colours. So friendly staff always willing to provide the best service and immediately fix anything for us. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We are staying here for almost 4 weeks and it already feels like home ️

Super quiet. Good A/C. HOT water. Extremely friendly and fully English speaking owner receptionist. All the rooms have windows. There is a communal courtyard to hang out. You can have full use of the kitchen. The rooms have a fridge and lots of space. The WiFi is the same as everywhere else. Monica the owner helped me find back my cellphone after I left it in a motor taxi. Amazing!

Most people are afraid to visit the Amazon because of how wild they hear it is. The truth is that some parts of the jungle really are pretty wild, but Iquitos is a city of 600,000 people and is actually the largest city in the world that can't be reached by road. That said, it's a pretty developed place and is very safe to visit. The problem is that as a foreigner, a lot of people are going to try to take advantage of you. but, if you've got someone to show you the ropes, you'll be perfectly safe AND you'll see what is easily one of the most beautiful places in the world. That being said, Monica Del Pilar Araujo is the person there who you can trust and her hotel -- Nativa Apartments Boutique Hotel -- is easily the best place to stay in the city. The apartments are clean and beautiful, and both she and those who work there are kind and helpful. I made friends with everyone there, including Juana Torres Silva and met a lot of awesome residents as well. In all seriousness, visit Iquitos. Go see the Amazon River and see dolphins jumping in and out of it. Meet a shaman. A real one. Go see jungle trees that are 150 feet tall. Experience a lifestyle completely different than yours. It will change your life. And the best way to that safely is to stay at Nativa Apartments. I knew absolutely nothing about Iquitos except for what Monica told me, and thanks to her guidance and the connections I made, I navigated a whole different part of the world and had experiences I'll never forget.

Nativa is a bit pricey for my travel but when no other rooms were available in the city the owner really helped out my partner and me. The space was super clean, comfy, w an oriental twist, and hot showers. Definitely recommended staying w Nativa!

Doesn’t feel like a hotel, but a true home away from home. Very comfy, kind people working there, serviceable wifi, and quiet location. I highly recommend La Nativa for your stay in Iquitos

Clean, comfortable, with great advice about the city of Iquitos, excellent location. Recommended. Good kitchen facilities with micro, refrigerator, plates and the necessary utensils. Close, less than two blocks to La Mona where good coffee, good beers and very simple and good food is served .
