Second best museum in town after the boat museum. Great artifacts, interesting videos, and a very inclusive compilation of different indigenous tribes in the Amazon basin, even outside of Peru. And dog friendly!

Museum as a good overview of some of the clans and areas history, cultures, clothing, traditions and rituals.
It’s small. It’s in a two floor house. It’s not like any modern elegant museum. But this is one of the most impressive small museums I have ever visited. I did not plan to spent much time there but ended with three hours. It’s interesting to go through EVERY piece of information displayed there. A true museum in the sense that teaches me something if not everything about the people have lived in the Amazon rainforest basin.
A great museum to escape the heat or rain of Iquitos. It might be small, but if you want to take your time, watch the series of short films. It gives a good insight into the different communities in the jungle and scratches more than the surface of how one can survive in the Amazon jungle.
A small but Very informative place. Reading everything takes an hour or so. Time well spent
A really excellent museum on the various current and past Amazonian indigenous tribes. I spent over two hours there, which I didn't expect from its size in the beginning. The explanations to the displays are provided both in Spanish and English (pretty flawless English actually), and contain incredibly detailed descriptions of rituals and other traditions. Every one of the cultures had an interesting fact about them - I was tired towards the end and wanted to just quickly skim through the rest, but it just wasn't possible, too intriguing :) I strongly recommend coming here.
A deep dive into indigenous communities. Worth every penny.
It’s really good, small but good. You can find a lot of stuff the natives use, just a bit dirty the second floor.
