Rooms were relatively dirty with no hot water. AC was loud but did the trick. Laundry was done very quickly.

Alyssa is the most gracious and welcoming host there is! She is also an incredible and creative cook and an amazing yoga instructor! The artwork at Casa Celestial is incredible, and the vibe is conducive to meeting and making friends with travelers from all over the world. Make your trip to Peru one to remember with a magical stay at Casa Celestial!

It's quite good for what it is, everything is straight forward and good prices. Washing slightly expensive..and don't leave food anywhere...it disappears.

I stayed here for 3 days and had a wonderful stay. The hostel is centrally located which made it easy to walk most places including the Malecón and the Plaza de Armas. The hostel has both a shared room and private rooms. I stayed in the 8 person shared room which has its own bathroom. There was a nice free breakfast in the morning and things like laundry, luggage stowage, artisan coffee, traditional Peruvian drinks (and soon to be yoga!) for an additional cost. Most importantly, the owners Juan and Alyssa were warm and welcoming. They speak Spanish and English and were helpful in answering any questions or concerns I had. As well, they helped me set up a meeting with a local guide where I decided which jungle tour I wanted. I definitely recommend staying here in Iquitos!
