I had a great time at the Indigan hostel, Miriam, John and Santos are really nice folks, they made me feel part of the family. The hostel is nice and cosy with spacious bedrooms, nice kitchen and hot shower. Walking distance from surf spots and well equipped for surfers coming with their board (storage place) and wetsuit (place to hang it). Waves are pretty consistent!
Very cool combination of family run surf hostel & surf school. I can totally recommend to all who want to stay in this chilled town, do surfing and just relax. Good atmosphere, sympathetic & sweet owners. Surf surf!
Awesome hostel and fantastic surf school too. The rooms were clean, decent kitchen and good facilities. The hosts here are amazing and are more Than willing to help you out with anything you need and recommend cool things to do and see. John is a great surf coach and helped me get up on my first try. Highly recommend if you are in the area
Excellent Experience! Clean and comfortable hostal with a very well equipped kitchen! Comfortable beds, hot water in the shower, all you can drink drinking water for 2 soles per day, and the friendliest staff. The view of the sunset from the balcony is priceless!
Great hostel and the nicest hosts! Good to just hang out or go surf. The hosts help you with any problem or question you might have.

Really enjoyed my time at the Indigan Surf hostal. I took a surf camp for 6 days and the experience was way beyond my expectation. First of all, the surf teacher is great. John really knows how to teach his students, I managed to make a lot of progress due to the excellent tips he gave me. Also, I really liked the authentic experience with the family who runs hostal. The father is a fisherman with one the traditional boats they have in Huanchaco and his sons are all about surfing (one of them is a professional surfer). The family is always willing to help you with all your questions. Finally, there is a great social vibe in the hostal.
