This is literally a hidden jam! It's not in the city center and it is small and easy to miss but it definitely is worth the climb to get there. The place is cosy and very nice, the food is good, fresh, prepared on the spot. The presentation is nice and the guys are also very friendly and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable and you can pay by Visa. (noticed on google maps it says cash only but it is not true)

The best vegetarian sushi I have ever had and one of the best sushi I have had in 3 months in South America. It’s worth walking up those stairs.

The quality of this sushi is on the same level as sushi I have eaten in New York City. Their teriyaki sauce is super thick and sweet, perfect for adding some additional flavor to the food. The setting is very intimate. Only two tables that seat three people and four stools. The perfect place to eat and have wonderful conversation. The staff is friendly and attentive, offering us additional sauce and ginger upon request. For people who want spicy eats, the wasabi is not as spicy but their spicy crab rolls has some good kick thanks to the sauce. We paid 140 solas (just under 45 USD) for 40 total pieces of sushi, fried shrimp (6 pieces), and two beers. This is a special delight in Cusco. It is well worth the steep walk up the hill. You’ll be breathing hard getting into the restaurant, but breathing even harder after eating all this delicious food.

Just finished the most unreal sushi at Takysan. Waiter kindly helped us in English, recommended some popular dishes and we ended up with 5 delicious and generous sushi plates, a cocktail and a beer all for under 35. Absolutely must visit this place!!

Everything was delicious. Small spot with a great menu. All the sashimi we had was very fresh and presented nicely. Would recommend!

Francisco and his team are just brilliant. The food was sensational and really well priced, the service was perfectly paced too. The experience is really pleasant with chilled out music to accompany the stunning food. If you don't like it here, you probably don't know what good sushi/ceviche is. We ate here 3 times in 6 days because it was so good. Thankyou so much Chris & Livi
