We had a great trip with Machu Picchu Bus Packers. The car itself was operated by Sakura Tours and was in perfect condition. The driver was very friendly and extremely careful on the narrow roads around Santa Teresa. Also, Erick (the company's reservation manager) was extremely forthcoming when we forgot a sweater on the bus and even dropped it off at our hotel in Cusco.

Great service and professionally organised. This is the cheapest way to get to Machu Picchu town without walking all the 30km from KM80 by foot. The company provides water and the driver drive safely and made sure everyone on the bus was comfortable. We took this bus both ways and were great happy.
We were very disappointed with our bus trip to hidroelectrica. We did quite a bit of research due to reading some horror stories of crazy drivers on the extremely dangerous roads between Cusco and MP. We booked with Bus Packers which are a lot more expensive than booking with the tourism shops in Cusco. We arrived at 7am to the meeting point to discover very quickly that these guys simply sell on your journey to one of the many buses that run this route. Our driver on the way there was extremely careful verging on slow which no one minded at all. We were overtaken on blind turns with sheer drops by crazy drivers at least 3 times. We stopped for lunch after a few hours and discovered everyone else except the 3 people who booked with Bus Packers had a buffet lunch included with their ticket. We were stuck with overpriced snacks from a nearby shop. The return journey was much worse. The driver was much more reckless, overtaking unnecessarily, very loud music and full blast aircon even when it was dark and cold outside. It was also disappointing to see him throwing rubbish from the van out of the window. Basically. This trip is a gamble on vans so if we were to go again we'd book with a tour agency for half the price.

Mi mejor experiencia en Perú, todo fue transparente y muy informativo. Erick siempre estaba pendiente en nosotros, incluso nos guardó nuestros equipajes y en el punto de retorno en nuestras manos fueron entregadas. Tomos el plan clásico de 2D1N Machu Picchu en Bus, todo perfecto (Transporte, Guía, Cena, Hotel) todo excelente, lo recomendamos sin duda.
Lo mejor fue Erick en nuestro viaje a Machu Picchu, una persona que te resolverá todas tus inquietudes. Alimentación fue buena, hotel fue una maravilla y nuestro guía Hiram 5 estrellas.
