The Cusco trip was absolutely amazing. Haku Expeditions delivered a great experience. They took care of all of the details and were incredibly accommodating. My flight was late due to a cancellation, and they reworked the trip so that we could all still ride together. I also appreciated that they took care of all the lodging arrangements, as well as the optional side trip to Machu Picchu. This level of detail just lets you relax, ride, and experience a new country with much less stress.

The experience I had in both Peru and Nepal were far beyond my expectations. Peru holds a special place in my heart and i will be returned for a 4th time next year. I've now done 2 tours with them, with another booked, and a 4th in the works. Bill, Nicole and the Haku family have become more than just a tour company to me and I look forward to many more years of trips to come. I would highly recommend them to anyone at all skill levels. Biking through the Himalayas in Nepal with Bill was awesome!! Couldn’t have asked for a better group to ride with. The local trail guides were knowledgeable and the views were epic, especially with Everest in the backdrop. The style of trip let you experience the local culture to the fullest. The trails we rode accommodated a good range of skill levels and definitely had the terrain to keep everyone’s adrenaline on high! Can’t recommend these guys highly enough. Would book again in a heartbeat.
I just arrived from Peru from the best mountain bike trip of my life, all the rides were outstanding (we did 7). The logistics and service from the Haku crew are beyond expectations. You have at your own disposal tools and service from the crew if you go with your own bike (or you can rent a high quality bike from them). Bill, Nicole and the Haku crew provided the best guidance and experience, they share an unmatched passion for mountain biking reflected in their work. Amazing riding just outside of Cusco and beyond. Bill and Nicole do everything possible to make sure you’re riding the kinds of trails you’re looking for (the trails there are very rad), and provide high quality, fully dialed bikes, along with any on-trail fixes if necessary. As far as I know they’re one of the only ones in Cusco, or maybe the whole country, that are going to guide you to legitimate mtn biking on world class trails. Worth every penny, as the trails would be super difficult to navigate on your own.
Our mountain biking tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Peru. We rode with them in late Aug 2019. Right from the beginning, Bill and Nicole were very responsive through emails. They made sure they understood both my husband's (advanced rider) and my (novice rider) skill levels and were able to select trails that were fun for both of us. We explored Maras and Moray on our bikes and dined at a beautiful spot in the Urubamba valley. Our tour guide Javier was excellent and lots of fun to talk to and ride with. They also helped source a private car for a our needs to explore Cusco the next day! In a nutshell, I will highly recommend Haku Expeditions for a bike ride when you are visiting Cusco. Do not miss out on this great opportunity!!
