We booked a tour with Mochetours over email. They offered a 'Huaca Rajada ( Sipan) Piramides de Tucume y Museo Tumbas Reales de Sipán' tour for 60 soles per person which included a guide in English and transportation. We would be picked up at 9.35am the next morning from our hotel in Lambayeque. When the next day began and we were politefully outside our hotel at 9.30am we'd wait. And wait. And wait. Around 9.50pm I quickly sent a Whatsapp message to the tourcompany. Without any notice our pickup was rescheduled to 10.20am. Then he wanted us to walk to the main street so the driver didn't have to bother picking us up at the hotel. By this time pickup was scheduled for 10.25am, almost an hour late. Then things got weird. Entrance fees to all sights were not included in the tour. So you have to pay them yourself, in addition to the tour you already payed for. Then they pulled another one by telling that the return would be to Chiclayo, and not to our hotel in Lambayeque. By this time we were so frustrated that we cancelled the tour. This is not the way you threat people and organize a tour. We took a 2 soles collectivo van and a 3 soles motortaxi to get to the Piramides in Tucume.

We booked a day tour to Chaparri with Alphonso, everything was very well arranged and we had a wonderful time. We asked for an english speaking guide and we were very happy with Carmen, the tour guide and translator that joined us for the day and made sure we enjoy. I strongly recommend this travel agency.

I took good day tour to Sipan (site & museum), guide is nice & very informative. There are Day Tours to Sipan (10am), Sican(10am), Beach (11am), and some other nearby cultural sites.
