I rented a 4x4 offroad truck a couple weeks ago, not realizing in Peru everyone drives manual and automatics are rare. I had a whole trip planned, a hotel rented, and on the morning I went to pick it up realized my mistake. José said not to worry, he could get me a driver, and he did very quickly. Saturnina drove me everywhere I wanted to go, was a very good and careful driver, and showed me sights I didn't know about. I felt very safe and welcome and the drive to and from Colca Canyon was one of the most beautiful of my life. If I could rate 10 stars I would, they took very good care of me. VORSICHT BETRÜGER! CHAPUCEROS!! Haben dort nach länger Suche ein Auto gemietet. 55 am Tag mit 300 Km 800 Kaution. Mieten war von vornherein umständlicher als gewohnt. Vereinbarter Preis nur bei Barzahlung. Bei Übergabe des Autos lautete es alles ok, keine Schäden. Erst auf meine Aufforderung hin wurden die Kratzer markiert. Bei der Rückgabe wurde natürlich akribisch nach feinsten Kratzern gesucht. Nachdem mir der Mitarbeiter den einen Kratzer nicht anhaften konnte, versuchte er es mit allem Nachdruck bei einem anderen Kratzer. Nach langer Diskussion gab ich nach. Obwohl die Stoßstange mehrmals beschschädigt war und das Lackieren solch eines Bauteils 150 Soles kostet versuchte er mir 180 abzukupfern. Wir einigten uns auf 150. Ich nehme an, dass sie das bei jedem Kunden so machen um ein Nebeneinkommen zu erzielen. Also bitte genau hinschauen beim anmieten! Auch wenn schon Tausend Kratzer drin sind!
