Luis' home was absolutely perfect - it had me feeling like I could move to Lima! It's situated in a great neighboorhood, within walking distance to great amenities (grocery store, pharmacy, shopping malls, etc). The condo was very comfortable and was equipped with everything we needed (an iron is a personal favourite of mine). I'd absolutely recommend to all travellers and would stay here again if and/or when I return to Lima. Super budget apartment.

I was looking for a quiet place to spend a few days and this was perfect! If what you want is a nice place with a great view and amazing hosts, this is it! The apartment has everything you need, clean and comfortable. Its surrounded by small shops where you can get almost everything and 5 minutes away from a huge market, so it couldn't been better. Im definitely coming back!! Special thanks to Luis and Cesar for being extremely helpful! See you soon!

Luis and his brother Cesar were very helpful and welcoming. I wanted to experienced Lima beyond the tourist experience and Edificio Juana Chorrillos was the perfect place. I felt inmensed in the daily Lima life of the people who live there. I enjoyed the tut tut taxi and local markets. I felt safe all the time I was there.

For the price, I had every thing I was interested in at the time: Hot shower, clean room and an ethernet plug in from the wall for my laptop. The wifi works fairly well but to make skype or phone calls, it was nice to be able to plug an ethernet cable directly into my laptop. All I had to do was turn off my computers wifi, plug in the ethernet cable and I had an awesome connection to speak to people all over the world by phone or video call. This is a rare capability in any hotel within Peru and was nice to have here for such a low price. For one Peruvian Sole (about 33 US cents), I could ask to be taken by a tut tut (three wheeled cab) to Mercado Santa Rosa. They dropped me off at the corner of Tolomeo and Guardia Civil. From there I could cross the street (Guardia Civil) to do so some shopping or eating that offered a traditional Peruvian experience. If I wanted a more modern theme, I could cross Tolomeo instead and visit the Via Mix Shopping Center which is only a few steps to the East of where the Tut Tut's usually dropped me off. The Via Mix has a small but more modern store called the Metro (or Metro Express). The store is at the end of several banks that offer walk in services as well as ATM's. It also has a movie theater called the Cine Star Premium upstairs. Also on the second floor of the Via Mix, are some restaurants that resemble booths that could look like a small modern indoor shopping mall but they serve Peruvian food. I also liked to make my way to the corner of Guardia Civil and El Sol because it was easier to catch buses that went to places in the city I liked to visit, and I liked some of the food that is offered by vendors at that corner. In addition, I found it easier to tell the Tut Tut drivers from the corner of Guardia Civil and El Sol how to get back to apartment. It was a good experience for me and I also hope others will have the same.

La señora que atiende es muy antipática, te trata como si estuviera haciéndote un favor. Las instalaciones muy sucias, y es muy difícil de llegar (lejano a avenidas, está arriba en el cerro)
