This place can save you, it can enlighten you and it can give you new insight into the world around you and even your own soul. The staff are terrific and the days are jam packed with activities and healing events. I did more healing in one night than in 10 years of therapy! The place is awesome - if you are ready for it!
Life changing experience at Arkana in the Amazon. Firstly, never would have thought I would survive a week in the jungle. I'm not a huge bugs/outdoorsy person. Second, I had no real clue as to what to expect re Ahuyuasca. Regardless the whole experience was amazing. The programming is well thought out with great excursions, great food and a lot of downtime as needed.
I don't know if there are any words available in this dimension to ever speak about how amazing care and experience Arkana Center can provide. Safety which is provided here by facilitators is outstanding... Thanks to all help, preparation and organization before ceremony and during, we were able to safely enter our the most instensive journey of all. To the inner world guided by feminine energy who is deeply inside every and each of us. Arkansa Spiritual Center is a place located between rivers and jungle. You can hear singing birds and monkeys from your room. Ceremonies are beautiful, even when tough there are always facilitators for you to guide you while this rough time. Rated # 1 for a Reason Even though I’m an outdoor adventure tour guide, I was in a deep dark depression when I had the calling to do Ayahuasca. I knew I wanted my first ceremony to be in the jungle and ended up booking Arkana’s Amazon/Sacred Valley combo retreat. I couldn’t imagine having this transformative experience at any other retreat center. The facilitators are are truly amazing caring souls and all have hearts made for helping others heal. Both centers are in comfortable settings and include mind cleansing activities such as sound baths, painting, breath work classes, adventure tours, and so much more. The musical talent shared in ceremonies was an awesome addition to the Shipibo Shaman’s icaros that flowed through the maloka like a sea of love. Josè, the owner, has a genuine heart of gold and is devoted to healing the world, one soul at a time. The Shaman’s are truly miraculous healers and will forever hold a special place in my heart. The anxiety, depression and anger that had consumed my pre-aya life is now literally gone! My spiritual journey to Peru was hands down the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. If you're embarking on your first Ayahuasca journey, look no further than Arkana Spiritual Centre. Located 4 hours deep into the amazon rainforest 2 hours by car, and 2 hours by boat, this place will provide you the safe and authentic experience you're looking for. If you don't believe in vibrations now, you will after meeting with mother Ayahuasca. And the positive Healing vibrations at Arkana are spectacular. The facilitators the shamans and the chefs, the security, the cleaners and the jungle guide, are all doing an incredible job to make you feel right at home. The center is huge beautifully constructed using the old building methods of the Amazon. You got everything you need at your disposal. Comfortable beds nice rooms with bug protection, clean showers and toilets, hangout area with a library of books and a gym. Spaces to hang out and talk, and spaces to be by yourself and reflect. The jungle tours are amazing. Ever since I was a child I dreamt of seeing the Amazon rainforest, and it didn't disappoint. Brace yourself for some incredible experiences of the natural world. You will feel like you are in a David Attenborough series. The ceremonies are beautiful authentic, and magical. Everyone get the support they need. The shamans got impressive energy throughout the experience with great icaros. The bond you create with the other people will be incredibly deep. Deeper than most relationships you have in your life. You will create an environment where everything is okay to be shared. An environment of non judgement, incredible freedom and support. You will make friends for life. Thank you Arkana for everything.
My 3 weeks at Arkana Spiritual Center in the Sacred Valley around 4 months ago were among the best of my life. All staff members - shamans, facilitators, chefs, cleaning personnel - are amazing and very dedicated to their jobs. They made me feel safe at all times, even during very difficult trips. Also, the facilities are great, with very nice housing, ceremony room, hammocks and meditation tent. Like many other people, I underestimated the amount of work that is needed to integrate the experiences into my regular life after the retreat. I had a very difficult time afterwards, but managed to reconnect to (most of) the clarity and strength found at Arkana a bit later. Integration is discussed at Arkana, but there could be more concrete pointers for everyday life, or more comprehensive aftercare. Except for that, everything was top notch, and I’d come back to this wonderful place without any hesitation!
